All our new parents of the Primary and Secondary were invited to attend our regular coffee mornings which took place on Monday the 26th of September, 2016. It was an opportunity to meet and chat to parents. Workshops on the National Curriculum Levels and assessments procedures were conducted by Mr. Wasif Head of Mathematics while instilling leadership qualities in students was conducted by Ms. Philips the Head of Sections.
At the Bloomington Academy Ajman, we believe that the more engaged a parent is, in their child’s learning, the more likely the child is to do well. There is a consistent relationship between increasing parental engagement and improved attendance, behaviour and achievement therefore working together has a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
Questions from parents were answered by Ms. Susan, the school Academic Advisor and by the Principal, Dr. Frank.
The meeting ended on a positive note with great feedback from parents.
