On the 29th of October the school celebrated Green Day which laid emphasis on the Eco-Drive. There is a quote that says – ‘Green is the prime colour of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises’.
The students of Year 1 and 2 danced to the song “It’s a small world after all”. They brought an awareness about the truths of our beautiful planet Earth and the importance of caring for it. Our Dean, Deputy Principal, Head of Section, parents, teachers and students shared their views on how to save the environment and the importance of being Earth friendly.
Students and teachers were not only dressed in green, but they also made badges related to the theme, ‘Eco- Friendly’ and Eco- Code posters were also made by the students of each class.
As the day progressed, the children were engaged in activities such as poster making, where they had to link the theme ‘Eco Green’ to the various subjects in the curriculum. The Can Collection Drive commenced on Green Day. The students of TBAC are all geared up to be a part of this Eco- Friendly Drive.
