Diversity, Belonging and Student Voice

School plays an important role in developing a positive sense of ethnic identity among students, by way of positive interaction among ethnicities. Our students are made to feel both smart and proud in the way they express their identities. Student-centered teaching promotes autonomy, cooperation, and student voice. We cultivate a sense of diversity among students where respect for one another is evident. Classroom relationships include teacher warmth and positive student relationships as foundation for healthy togetherness.
