Circle time ‘took off to space’ with our FS2/KG1 kiddies dressed in space-related costumes, celebrating International Space Day. The classrooms became tiny space worlds. Their eagerness to share who / what they had come dressed as burst into imaginative stories, simple yet meaningful, creating their own little space adventures. Some ‘flying rockets’, some ‘walking on the moon’, while some quietly observed everything around them. It was all about the kids feeling comfortable expressing themselves in their own way. A happy and engaging session where learning happened through play, just as it should.
