Our Senior Students’ Annual Day & Graduation Ceremony of A-Level scholars, on 19th June 2025, was an evening to remember, a celebration of joy, achievement, and pride. The ceremony began on a grand note with the National Anthem and Quran recitation, followed by the Bloomington Drumline band capturing the anticipation of the evening. The graduands entered, striding proudly in a processional march. Our Principal, Ms. Hussaina warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. Terry Burwell, Head of School, Maplewood Canadian International School, Abu Dhabi and our Local School Advisory Board Member, Guest of Honour, First Sergeant-Hoda Musa Saeed from the Ajman Police Department and all parents. The proceedings furthered, with a band rendition, a musical solo, a drama adaptation of 'The Merchant of Venice', and a dance courtesy our talented students. The evening echoed with heartfelt speeches; our Headteacher's inspiring words, Dr. Terry's insightful address, and our students' reflections on 'Memories' and 'Hopes for the Future'. The awards ceremony added to the evening’s glamour, with the prestigious Madam Sosamma Lazar 100% Scholarship Award, NPE Learner Award, and Bloomington Learner Award presented to well-deserving students. Our valedictorian's speech was a blend of gratitude, nostalgia, and optimism. The highlight of the evening was the conferment of diplomas, to our graduating batch and the tassel change from right to left! It was a bittersweet moment, filled with emotions, as they bid farewell to their school life, ready to venture onto a new path. The graduation hat toss marked a joyful culmination of the ceremony, symbolizing the students' transition to a new chapter in life. As we bid adieu to our graduating class, we wish them a future filled with success, happiness, and fulfillment. Cheers to new beginnings!
